PSP Filer 5.4 changes:

picture viewer:

• fixed a bug that Filer was crashed when reading picture in background at low memory.
• made scroll speed faster while reading picture in background.
• added a feature to jump to the edge of the picture by pressing START with left, right, up and down.
• enabled to move next/previous picture while reading picture in foreground.

Mediumgauge’s PSP Filer is one of those must-have homebrew apps… Notwithstanding the obvious file management side of things, PSP Filer also features a handy set of integrated applications: rip UMDs directly to your memory stick, view memory contents, backup/restore flash0 and flash1, rearrange XMB icons, toggle USB… Yadda, yadda, yadda… The list goes on — just check it out for yourself.

PSP Filer 5.2 changes:

filer:

• added “GAME4XX” folder to re-order game icons. (added “GAMEnaa” folder : n=0-9, a=0-9/a-z/A-Z)

picture viewer:

• changed circle button’s function to toggle “make a picture to fit screen width” and “to fit screen height”.

binary editor:

• fixed a bug that a help screen was vanished when Filer finishes to read a large file.

general:

• [5.1] enabled to connect to PC via USB in kernel3 version.
• [5.1+] fixed a bug that the kernel3 Filer could not run under some kind of CFW version (that caused in 5.1 only). Instead, in those CFW, 5.1+ of kenel3 Filer cannot run USB feature.

binary viewer:

• [5.1] added a binary-editor feature.
  note: a large file (more than 22MB) and an archived file (which is bound in .zip, .rar, etc.) cannot be edited.

binary editor:

• [5.1+] fixed a bug that Filer crashed when it opens 0 byte file.

PSP Filer v4.1 changes:

General:

• Added a metronome feature.
• Enabled to save CPU clock settings.
• Bundled kernel 3.00 version (in kernel3 folder) that cannot do following features:
  • connecting to PC via USB.
  • flash memory maintenance.
  • writing files into flash0 (though flash1 can be modified).
  • showing flash device information.

Filer:

• Added a feature to access ZIP archive file. (read-only).
• Changed normal-color to directory-color for archive file’s directory.

Text Viewer:

• Able to read LATIN1-1252 encoding.

Picture Viewer:

• Fixed a bug that a progress indicator remained on screen when it finished to read a small picture.
