Unofficial MVSPSP (Neo Geo MVS Arcade Emulator) w/ Cheat Support
greg | February 16, 2009
Davex has released an unofficial version of NJ’s Neo Geo MVS arcade emulator. Rather than me reword it, here is Davex’s description:
Strictly speaking, since NJ added support to the Universal BIOS (UNIBIOS), MVSPSP has been with cheat support. But UNIBIOS support requires raster effects enabled, which may cause graphical errors and performance issues in some cases.
This Unofficial Work in progress MVSPSP version adds cheat support without requiring UNIBIOS. Also adds support to UNIBIOS version 2.3 if you prefer.
You can download UNIBIOS 2.3 at the official website.
And for anyone who doesn’t know… The Neo Geo MVS is a cartridge-based arcade system holding down many classic titles, some which you’ll likely recognize: Fatal Fury, Metal Slug, SNK vs. Capcom, 2020 Super Baseball, and that’s just to name a few…

Comments (8)CPS1PSP, CPS2PSP, MVSPSP, and NCDZPSP v2.2.2 Released
greg | October 9, 2007
Faster than executing a successful hadouken, developer NJ releases yet another set of updates. 2.2.2 is the new version number for Capcom Play System 1 & 2, and the Neo Geo MVS / CDZ emulators.
Classic arcade-style Street Fighter will no doubt trigger some childhood memories; you know, the good ol’ days in those dingy arcades with the dude wearing a green visor dispensing quarters & dime bags.
Google translated changelog:
- Way it draws UI at everything GU, modification.
- English integrating the binary of edition and Japanese edition. When the indicator language of PSP itself is Japanese, with Japanese, the other than of that is English.
- With PSP-2000 the Home button was made enabled. The time before you open the menu similarly with the Home button.

Comments (10)NJ’s CPS1PSP / CPS2PSP / MVSPSP / NCDZPSP v2.0 Released
greg | February 14, 2007
NJ is bidding farewell to the PSP homebrew scene, and as a departing gift he has left us with v2.0 of his sought-after emulators. Now, I’m well aware we have never posted any of NJ’s emulators in the past, and to be honest I have no reasonable explanation as to why… But, what better time to show respect to the highly skilled homebrew developer.
Featured in the archive:
- CPS1PSP — CAPCOM CPS1
- CPS2PSP — CAPCOM CPS2
- MVSPSP — Neo Geo
- NCDZPSP — Neo Geo CDZ
All 4 emulators come as v2.0 with multiplayer support via Ad Hoc WiFi. The source code is also included. Awesome job NJ, take care.
