AVEC V1 – GPS Vector Map Viewer by Art

AVEC is a Vector map viewer capable of displaying and navigating maps in the common Polish format maps. The 1.50 kernel version can also receive location from a GPS device and display your location on the map. If the map file has street information, the program tells you what street you are in, or look up the name of a street selected with the cross hair.

The 1.50 version should be installed to GAME150. If you have a GPS setup for MapThis! it will be compatible since it uses the same GPS routines. The newer firmwares version should be installed to PSP/GAME352 or
PSP/GAME5xx, etc.

Games:

Random Shooter – Space Shoot ‘Em Up by Zack

Random Shooter is a PSP port of the game of the same name by parellelRealitys. With a few adjustments and enhancements. The object of the game is to achieve the highest score possible as you battle against an army of UFO’s. You only have one life, 1 hit and your dead. Classic retro style action.

My Snake Pet by leviadragon

My snake pet is a Tamagotchi. Instead of the pet there is Snake from Metal Gear Solid… I leave to your imagination how much this can be funny!

Portable Bubble v2.0 by Gefa

Just a few posts down… Portable Bubble is the Bust-a-Move/Puzzle Bobble clone.

PSN License Manager v0.30 Released

greg | August 1, 2009

If you’re like me — using 5.50 GEN with access to drop some Laurie’s at each region’s PSN Store — then you should consider Light_AleX’s PSN License Manager. Believe me, it saves a lot of trouble.

PSN License Manager

And because it’s been awhile, here’s PSN License Manager revisited:

Under NORMAL circumstances

  1. I create an account for the US PlayStation Store.
  2. I create an account for the EUROPE PlayStation Store.
  3. I see “Patapon 2″ available on the EU PlayStation Store.
  4. However, I have already bought things on the US PlayStation Store.

To buy and play “Patapon 2 (EU)”, I would have to do the following.

  1. Connect to US PlayStation Store.
  2. Deactivate system for GAME content.
  3. Delete account on PSP and login with the EU account.
  4. Activate system for “Patapon 2″.
  5. Play games.

To switch back, I would have to reverse the above process and end up limited again to my US games.

The above process would waste a LOT of time due to:

  1. – Requires WiFi access.
  2. – The length of the process.
  3. -Would be terribly confusing during multi-region situations.

PSN License Manager v0.30 changes:

  • Reboot option added.
  • PSP reboots regardless when exiting from the application to clear memory thoroughly.
  • 5.50 GEN Custom Firmware supported.

PSN License Manager 0.22 Released

greg | July 27, 2009

Too small to mention, but let me mention — Light_AleX’s PSN License Manager 0.22. We covered this awhile back and considering the changes aren’t anything major, I’ll simply repeat myself –

Use PSN License Manager to swap in and out licenses eliminating the need to deactivate/reactivate your hand-held; you know, when purchasing PSN goodies from different regions and such. PSN License Manager incorporates a “slot” system (up to 30) allowing multiple licenses to be saved in designated slots.

Don’t get the wrong idea now — PSN License Manager is not intended for distributing and/or using illegitimate licenses. It won’t happen. See the readme for usage instructions.

PSN License Manager v0.20 & PSN License Remover v0.1 Released

greg | April 19, 2009

Going hand-in-hand with one another are two new ‘brews from the developer who calls himself Light_AleX… That’s both PSN License Manager v0.20 and PSN License Remover v0.1.

Use PSN License Manager to swap in and out licenses eliminating the need to deactivate and reactivate your handheld, you know, for different regions. This version incorporates a new “slot” system allowing multiple licenses to be saved in designated slots (up to 30 slots are supported).

And well, you guessed it; PSN License Remover completely removes a license from the PSP. It’s recommended you create a backup first if you try or use this app, especially if you’ve made any legitimate purchases from the PSN Store.

PSP License Manager v0.20 changes:

  • Multiple PSP support using slots. Up to 30 slots is supported.
  • Uses directories (slots) so the main directory is clean.
  • Power checks have been put in place so PSPs don’t accidentally shut down while using the program.

PSN License Manager v0.17 Released

greg | April 14, 2009

If you’re an avid downloader of [legitimate] PSP titles from multiple regions — the US or Europe for example — then you may find an interest in Light_AleX’s PSN License Manager. Here’s the situation laid out –

Now, with PSN License Manager 0.17, you can remove all the hassle.

That’s it, that’s all. For now…
