In light of the triumphant ChickHEN, Ardatan returns to the scene with a HighMemMod release for everyone — Netfront Internet Browser Beta 4. Not only does beta 4 introduce PSP-3000/ChickHEN support, you can now password protect browser access for your own safety.

And for those not in the know: Team P86’s “High Memory Mod” removes certain limitations giving whatever application more memory to play with. As a result, when used with Netfront, you’ll experience a much faster and more responsive browsing experience.

Netfront Internet Browser Beta 4 changes:

• Annoying prompt was removed.
• HEN support was added (PSP-3000 support).
• The theme was changed (EBOOT music, background etc…).
• It is more stable.
• Password Protected Version is added.

Somehow Ardatan has managed to again increase your surfing speed by an astonishing 200% (Slim only). That’s right, 200%. How is that possible? Who knows… How was the 200% even calculated? Who cares… Just know — it’s faster all right.

Furthermore, included is a plugin — copy “htmlviewer_plugin.prx” to flash0:/vsh/module. Now the HighMemoryMod patch by Team P86 is applied when launching the browser from the XMB. Oh, and ensure you create a backup of the original first.

The same patch that sped up your Internet browsing experience is now available for JK108’s release of SofiyaCat’s PSPTube — and again we can thank Ardatan for that… Included in the package are both Ultimate PSPTube 2.0 and the HighMemoryMod loader app.
