Emulate the great NeoGeo Pocket and Pocket Color with Akop’s latest version of “RACE! PSP.” And the change log below is what you oughta know…
RACE! PSP v2.16 changes:
- Time Rewind feature: map ‘Special: Rewind’ to any PSP button in the Controls menu to enable. See documentation for more information.
- Save state format has changed: RACE! PSP will still read the older save state format, but loading will be slightly slower.

Comments (5)SMS Plus PSP v1.2.55: Sega Master System & Game Gear Emulator Updated
greg | January 19, 2009
Remember when DaveX took the liberty in adding this feature to these emulators (here, here, and here)… Yes, that’s the ability to rewind your game play at anytime while in game. Well now DaveX has given Akop permission to re-use that code and incorporate said feature in the official SMS Plus PSP release. So here you have it.
And if you’re a newcomer to SMS Plus PSP, it emulates the SEGA Master System and Gear Gear consoles. Get down.

PSP SMS Plus v1.2.55 changes:
- Time Rewind feature by DaveX – “rewind” recent gameplay (approximately 20 seconds). Map ‘Special: Rewind’ to any PSP button to enable this feature.

Comments (10)SMS Plus PSP v1.2.5 Released: SEGA Master System and Game Gear Emulator Updated
greg | December 9, 2008
It’s no doubt been quite awhile since Akop touched on SMS Plus PSP; you know, the SEGA Master System and Game Gear emulator from back in ‘07. Heard of it? Well maybe not, like I said, it’s been along time… Whatever the case — we’re now nearing the end of ’08; so if ya caught it, ya got it – enjoy classic SEGA all over again.
Akop notes: this version does not include Wi-Fi or Ad Hoc support, not yet anyway… That remains a work in progress. Enjoy!
SMS Plus PSP v1.2.5 changes:
- When switching games, latest save state will be automatically highlighted.
- Rapid fire support – map any button to A or B auto fire (’Controls’ tab). Change the rate of auto fire in the ‘Options’ tab.
- Snapshots are now saved to PSP’s PHOTO directory (/PSP/PHOTO), and can be viewed in PSP’s image viewer.
- File selector snapshots – while browsing for games with the file selector, pause momentarily to display the first snapshot for the game.

Comments (6)RACE! PSP v2.0: Neo-Geo Pocket & Pocket Colour Emulator Released
greg | September 11, 2008
You know, way back when, that one kid in every small town who was envied by all his/her peers for sporting a Neo-Geo gaming console or hand-held. Well now, years later, that’s you — it’s your time to shine. Reign WindJammers champion of the town with Akop’s Neo-Geo Pocket and Pocket Colour emulator — “RACE! PSP.”
Although; truthfully, I’m not sure whether WindJammers ever made it to the Neo-Geo Pocket or Pocket Colour. Nevertheless — PSP MAME4ALL supports it.

This is Akop’s initial release ported from Flavor’s original project. It’s noted version 2.0 does not include save states; however, that is planned for the future. Good lookin’ out.
