Mod: PSP Laptop Model .5
greg | June 5, 2009
Check this: Folklord36’s PSP Laptop Model… It’s a work-in-progress, but in its current .5 state, it definitely showcases innovation and originality at its finest… What you see below is a PSP with the LCD screen and speakers relocated to the topside, as well an Xbox 360 Chatpad fitted elegantly where the screen was once viewed.

Comments (60)Open Keyboard Project: 360 Chatpad Mod for PSP Slim & Phat
greg | September 7, 2008
Equipped with a special version of piKey and the 360 Chatpad custom flashed, l0rdnic0 is keyboardin’ like no other.
Developed by Jean @ ps2dev, this hack/mod is fully functional with the Sony on-screen keyboard (OSK) and Danzeff’s OSK under AFKIM. Currently, for the moment, keyboard-enabled homebrew from ZX-81 doesn’t quite work; however, there is a more suited driver in development.

Comments (52)AcidMods Releases Their Dual Nub “Razor X” Boards
greg | March 27, 2008
Hand-held fanatics went wild in mid ‘07 when AcidMods demonstrated their first dual nub modded PSP—the “Razor.” Today its been released and [as of late] redesigned providing for an easier installation; now code-named, “Razor X.” To quote Cyberpyrot, “this is the final razor design which allows you to assemble the razor before soldering, making installation a lot easier.”

And if you’re wondering where to pick one up, head to coolmods.co.uk.

Comments (7)PvP’s Internal USB Mass Storage
greg | January 3, 2008
Update: You may have noticed acidmods.com is currently inaccessible. My good friend CyberPyrot says it’s only temporary and they’ll be back online sooner rather than later.
My only question was, do you still have access to the UMD drive? That was quickly answered and sadly you don’t. So if you’re willing to sacrifice that, then you may add 30GB+ of storage — internally! Otherwise you can rig a similar setup externally with an iPod. Yup, an iPod. Tutorial coming soon…
Nice mod, PVP. And I should also give props to CyberPyrot for his feature in February’s issue of Official PlayStation Magazine.
