PSAR Dumper Version 2B - Extract 2.6 & 2.7 Firmwares
PSAR Dumper Version 2B (.02B)
A tool to help legal reverse engineering of the PSP system components.
Extracts the contents of the update data file, and saves them as
separate files on memory stick.
When it can, it will also automatically decrypt the .PRX files
(like the PSPSDK PRXDecrypter tool)
Advanced expert tool.
NOTE: will extract only for 2.6 or 2.7. The decrypt function will not work

well ive extracted and decrypted the files from the 2.5 update and replaced the prx's in the runumd X folder and wwe dint load, same black screen as ussual. (im only usin wwe cos i have that game but my guess is we can get that workin we can get anythin workin)
any help on what to try next would be appreciated
i take it its because the files i need to run in are encrypted in the iso/umd
in which case me thinx we need a 2.5 fw emu
cos the 2.5 psp's have no trouble runnin the umd and an untouched iso is the same data
i dont really want to fix the iso (i believe a universal fix is better than an individual one) but if itll work im open to suggestions
any suggestions?

@Every_Thing_Burns no splinter cell will not work, as this game has a 2.6 firmware update and will most likely have 2.6 prx files which cannot be decrypted at the moment.
I did try various methods before this decrypter which all failed on a black screen. So Splinter Cell will not be playable until a new loader with some decrypting funtionality is made.. Don't expect it to work with any current loading methods..
@elboffor I haven't had a look at the setup of WWE but I would assume if it was possible it would have been done by now. But will check it out at some point.
You need to decrypt the prx files (there is a decrypter around for that) and use this psar dumper to decrypt and extract the update file contents. So as to use the runumd method with x folder.Which may lead somewhere.

cant decruypt the eboot.pbp for wwe cos it aint got 1 all it has is a eboot.bin and boot.bin
ive decrypted the eboot for 2.5 and tried those prx's in the x folder for runumd but altho those prx's work for every currently workin 2++ game they dont work for wwe 
i do think a new loader is need so we can emulate 2.5 properly, just the current ones aint doin it :S

Game UMDS and game ISOS dont have a .PBP, thats only for the actual PSP shell to run the hmebrew/demos/updates
