cool. you can also change the volume from jMEnc right now by using the advanced options. there should be a flag
that looks like "-vol XXX" in the command string. 256 is normalized, so anything higher than that will boost the
volume. i wouldn't set it toooo high, though, because it will distort the sound if you do. i usually use -vol 265 or
-vol 270 and it helps out a good bit.

i've got the volume slider done for the AVC vesion. i'm gonna start working on adding it into the SP (1.5) version

also, for version 3, i'll be changing a lot of the user interfaces. the most important one is the main panel.

it's not the best interface. i have some ideas, but i'd really like to hear/see what other people think. so, if
you want to be a part of my project, you can whip up some graphics showing what you think it should look
like. it doesn't have to be exact. something like this will work:

i am asking for design help? (lol)
i guess i could do it myself, but it would be one less thing to try a figure out if someone has a really good idea
