Thanks, Zinga. I think the playability of srt subtitles depends on what you're using as pmp player, for instance PMP plugin of iR Shell plays them more smoothly (esp the sound) than PMP Player with Sub Mod 2.02. Pausing the video and changing the cpu speed kind of temporarily fixes it.
