Yeah that's right,
I went to the customs office to catch up PSDonkey's PSP because it arrived 2 days ago. I had to kinda proof that the PSP has been a gift or competition prize and that I therefore don't have a bill for it. So I gave them the email conversation with Greg and screenshots from the competition articles on the front page. Luckily the customs officers were fine with that (after 15 minutes of research by themselves). Unfortunately I had still to pay some tax based on an estimated value for the PSP (approx. 18 EUR) else they wouldn't gave it to me. PSDonkey you could've checked the box left to the word "Gift" on the Customs Declaration sticker ![]()
In the end I want to thank you for the competition, and thanks to PSDonkey for his PSP (it is in a great shape and seems not to be used that often)!
Oh and btw. please consider to send only legal stuff with your prizes, you never know if some officials look over it sometimes ;D
cheers

haha - I went through something similar when Wicked Lasers sent me a few lasers. Fortunately they were smart and sent the batteries separately, so the customs officers couldn't try them. I think they are deemed illegal in Canada - at least these particular ones. Anyway, I'm glad you got the PSP in one piece. Kudos Donkey for your kind donation.

I just saw this thread! Sorry MK2k for not checking that gift box as I didn't see it. I'm glad you like it and I hope you liked the Foster's home for imaginary friends theme I put on it.
