Hello folks.. i have a problem that is i cant download CFW 4.01 m33 on psp 4.01 and do i should downgrade it to 3.x? do anyone have 4.01 downgrader?

I have a (fat) PSP with 2.81 currently. I don't own LCS though I do own VCS. Purchasing a new copy of LCS will give me a patched copy which won't help.
So my options are to find an unpatched copy of LCS somehow, or do Pandora and thusly a battery mod? Is that correct?
I'm not sure how comfortable I am doing a battery hack. Are there other options available to me?

just get a Datel Tool Battery, only $30, use that with a magic memory stick to downgrade

I believe there's updated downgraders which you can use, don't have a link right now
Soon I should be posting downgrading tutorials for more recent firmwares, so stay tuned!

Yeah there is a guy called Dark Alex i think and he has a really good downgrader all you do is type in the firmwar you have and then the desired one and hey presto : D

what the hell?? When i go to photos, all i see is a corupt file. Do i need a battery in order for this to work, cause i've only used the charger.
