Slim PSP and Backlight Replacement or fixing

I have a screen here that I just pulled out of a bricked psp. I put it in the new psp (both slims) and powered it on. Everything works.  Put the case back together and turn it on and no back light.

So now I have 1 screen with no back light but screen works. and 1 screen with a good back light but the screen is cracked.

Any Ideas.  I also broke the damn clip on the working psp that holds the back light cable in place..and I was really careful with it and it still cracked in half.

Anybody have any ideas on getting this thing working? Is it not possible to switch the back lights on the screens?

I  had taken the broken screen apart and tried to remove the back light but it looks like it's stuck to the screen.

Pictures coming tonight

Re: Slim PSP and Backlight Replacement or fixing

Update:

I have tested the screen that works on another psp and it still works backlight and all.

This means there is something wrong with the new black psp with the cracked screen. When I put in the new working psp the backlight does not come on.

Screen works you can see writing but no backlight. Any clue where the fuse is on these new slims for the backlight?
