Re: [compo entry][RELEASE]Light Cycle Clone

Cool.  But from the title screen I was hoping it would be 3D like glTron and Armagetron.  Some day I'll break down and either port one of those, or make my own.  Also, isn't it traditional to have the controls be <- and -> to turn counterclockwise and clockwise?  I've always thought so at least.  Anyway, I'll give this one a try.

One cool option on glTron is to have your trail disappear behind you when it gets far enough away.  Please consider this as an option maybe.

Re: [compo entry][RELEASE]Light Cycle Clone

I'm confused by the name -- is it "Light Cycles Clone" or "Life Cycle Clone?"

Hardhat, I've actually already started on a Light Cycle homebrew that is close to Armegetron. Since Armagetron is already coded in C++, it shouldn't be too difficult to port over. Right now I'm coding in LUA to get a proof of concept working, but once I get that working right, I'll switch to C++ for the final release. I don't have any screens at the moment other than the menu, but that's not really proof of anything other than I can use Photoshop. So once I get something decent working, I'll post screens of it.
