Osnaps..... Do I need a pandora to use this time machine thing?

yea one thing that makes time machine awesome is because of the multiboot you can use the battery as a normal battery. But you need a pandora, TM is not necessary but its definitely cool to have. I have it with UPMS as well.

thats very true mmmmmm and that is why im not liking this.i mite be fading out of this business if things get crazy.i dont mind the gameboot deal as long as they piss around with the finer setting to get it to play right sorta thing .i dont know maybe worried for nothing we'll see.

yep, I think this should have been kept under a hat.
Nothing wrong if people want to use this method themselves though.
Maybe we should add a forum rule that you can only request standard length gameboots. hmm

I totally agree with that point , I know I do not do gameboot request but i can foresee a barrage of wierd demanding gameboot request !

Then u guyz that usually help make those nice gameboots for ppl , will get frustrated n booged down with tooo many technicallities for every gameboot made !

How many white screen complaints will it take to break yall down then no request would eventually accepted by yall !

I like it but then I dont ! roll

ODV out! just my 2 cents , it dont buy nuttin but it is indeed change !!!!!!!!!! Think bout that 4 a lil !

Re: [Tutorial] How to create gameboots longer than 2.5 seconds

I think longer gameboots will work sometimes....Like a 22 sec gameboot.. It works for me before ..Smackdown vs raw 08 works fine with the 22 sec gameboot. But Now it just a white screen when i played smackdown vs raw 08( Smackdown only but all my iso games and cso games works with the gameboot except smackdown 08)

Re: [Tutorial] How to create gameboots longer than 2.5 seconds

Well.  I made a 13 second gameboot with the Mortal kombat Revenge theme i released.
and everything played fine for me.  ISO & homebrew...

I would just like to add 2 things to this:

1) You do not have to go through all the drama of installing time Machine to get resurssiklunssi working on PSP Slim.  It works just fine through E-loader...

2)  If ppl are going to be making extended gameboots, than they may want to keep the video/audio bit rates down, or these things will be HUGE !!   There will be no room in Flash0 for them !    (By lowering video/audio bit rates in UMD Tools, i managed to get my 13 second Mortal kombat gameboot down to 594 kb...)

The whole process is extremely easy.  I would try to simplify the guide a little.
It looks like week long project from all the instructions you have posted.  tongue

Other than that, great guide.
I'm sure many ppl will find this useful  smile

Re: [Tutorial] How to create gameboots longer than 2.5 seconds

hmm The gameboot I am using is 1.25 mb. I edited my custom RCO, as per the tutorial, but when I load a game I just get a white screen with no sound and no video.

When I load normal sized gameboots, it runs fine.

Here is the gameboot and the opening plugin I am using, it's for 3.71:

Any help would be much appreciated.

edit: Problem solved. I'm using cxmb, which I guess makes a difference....so I used the cintro converter and they're working now.

Re: [Tutorial] How to create gameboots longer than 2.5 seconds

Just wondering, what is the units for the time setting. Is it frames? Do I just have to guess at how long my gameboot is? From what is in the guide, it seems like it is just the number of seconds with 050 tacked on (milliseconds?).

Re: [Tutorial] How to create gameboots longer than 2.5 seconds

probably it's pretty much estimated I went through some testing to work it out the way I want it. Estimating 8 seconds would be 8000, 6 seconds 6000 you get the picture. Just increase it in increments of 50 or more depending on how much longer it can be you'll get use to it. Just do some guess and check.
