Upgrading Themes

I have found alot of custom themes from 3.40 and 3.52 on my hard drive

i was wondering is there a quick way to make them work on 4.XX - 5.XX cfw without too much effort.

Not exactly. There have been a lot of updates since then, plus new icons/visualizers have been added. If you really want the theme so bad, try requesting it converted for you. But most of the themes now for 5.50 GEN-B are quite awesome.
