My PSP usage Most to least used; ISOS > POPS > UMD Game > MUSIC memstick > VIDEO memstick > HOMBREW Apps I don't mind the default theme, I have XMB sounds muted, color selected, and my own wallpaper. Just curious if there is anything that isn't just for looks/sounds.

Themes can make the XMB more laggy, but not really "faster" in terms of performance.
Games are unaffected by themes as the XMB is not loaded at that point. XMB music is somewhat handled separately from the rest of the XMB, so even if it's lagging (ie low CPU), music will work fine. XMB video also appears to be unaffected by what's going on in the XMB mostly. So no, unless you consider the scrolling speed to be too slow. You can't really get a performance boost. |

hmm ok, well I'm browsing a site with a whole bunch of themes, so far the only thing I see that I like more then PSP theme is a see more advanced Battery display, not just the 3 bar system, also I see one that displays wither wi-fi is on or off, If I could install those 2 items on theme that would be nice.

Themes slows the booting up too i believe
although it makes your xmb look a whole lot cooler ![]() But if u are into performance then go with original , its not bad looking too |
