and the reserved 2nd post.

OK. If you don't want to flash all the RCO's to your flash0 you can use CXMB 2.5. It works for the Custom Firmware 3.71 M33 Update 2. I sendspaced it for you guys.

This tutorial is to help ppl set up CXMB on their 3.71 M33 - Update 2 w/ 1.50 ADD ON VERSION 2 PSP

DO NOT USE THIS TUT IF YOUR USING 3.71 m33 without the update or 1.50 add on v 2. as accessing the flash0 and writing to it could corrupt your flash0.
Also we will be touching the flash0 I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU DELETE SOMETHING YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE !!!!!!

Step 1 : Downloading CXMB and Theme files you will need.
Step 2 : Installing CXMB onto your MEMORY STICK
Step 3 : Installing theme files to CXMB and Flashing to FLASH0
Step 4 : Activating and Testing the theme.

(Step 1) : Downloading CXMB and Theme files you will need.

CXMB 2.5 : http://www.sendspace.com/file/g62j88
psp420.freeweb7.com/cxmbv2.5.rar
This CXMB rar file i uploaded to sendspace is READY TO GO. Includes all folder structure and le recovery for 3.71 m33 update 2 for screen shots.
Theme Files : http://www.psp-hacks.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=115516
The themes released for 3.71 M33 come with rcos and paf.prx & vshmain.prx, and possibly a font.

(Step 2) : Installing CXMB onto your MEMORY STICK
NOTE * Currently in 2.5 CXMB FONTs and PRX's in MODULE FOLDER are not supported. THESE FILES MUST BE FLASHED.

Extract the cxmbv2.5.rar file to a place you will remember. You WILL SEE this folder structure.

/CXMB/VSH/RESOURCE/
/CXMB/VSH/MODULE/
/SEPLUGINS/CXMB.PRX
/SEPLUGINS/RECOVERY.PRX
/SEPLUGINS/VSH.TXT

___________
Quick NOTE* Your Psp memory stick root is were the MP_ROOT and PSP folders are.

COPY the contents of the .rar to the root of your psp's memory stick. Your memory stick ROOT should now look like this.

/CXMB/ <--- new folder
/ISO/
/MP_ROOT/
/MUSIC/
/PICTURE/
/PSP/
/SEPLUGINS/ <--- new folder, if this is the first plugin on your psps firmware
/ISO/
/VIDEO/

CMXB 2.5 INSTALLED.!!!

(Step 3) : Installing theme files to CXMB and Flashing to FLASH0
I'm going to be using Large Icons + as my example in the next step.

Extract the theme you want to use, and look over the files to see what it consists of.
Large Icons + Comes with these files...

/font/ltn0.pgf
/vsh/module/paf.prx
/vsh/module/vshmain.prx
/vsh/resource/01-12.bmp
/vsh/resource/impose_plugin.rco
/vsh/resource/msvideo_main_plugin.rco
/vsh/resource/osk_plugin.rco
/vsh/resource/sysconf_plugin.rco
/vsh/resource/system_plugin.rco
/vsh/resource/system_plugin_bg.rco
/vsh/resource/system_plugin_fg.rco
/vsh/resource/topmenu_icon.rco
/vsh/resource/topmenu_plugin.rco

___________
Quick NOTE* Currently in 2.5 CXMB FONTs and PRX's in MODULE FOLDER are not supported. THESE FILES MUST BE FLASHED.

COPY the RESOURCE folder from the theme to your memory stick in the CXMB resource folder.
So now my MS folders will look like this.

/CXMB/VSH/MODULE/ <--- EMPTY
/CXMB/VSH/RESOURCE/01-12.bmp
/CXMB/VSH/RESOURCE/impose_plugin.rco
/CXMB/VSH/RESOURCE/msvideo_main_plugin.rco
/CXMB/VSH/RESOURCE/osk_plugin.rco
/CXMB/VSH/RESOURCE/sysconf_plugin.rco
/CXMB/VSH/RESOURCE/system_plugin.rco
/CXMB/VSH/RESOURCE/system_plugin_bg.rco
/CXMB/VSH/RESOURCE/system_plugin_fg.rco
/CXMB/VSH/RESOURCE/topmenu_icon.rco
/CXMB/VSH/RESOURCE/topmenu_plugin.rco

Now that the easy part is over :) Shut Off the psp and reboot into the recovery menu. Connect your psp to your computer with a ubs cable and enter your FLASH0 Through ADVANCED
** NOTE ** It would be a good idea to backup your FLASH0 now. Also make sure your computer is set to NOT HIDE system and operating system files and folders.

Go to your MODULE folder in VSH and copy over the 2 MODULE PRX's from the theme. OVERWRITE the files don't delete anything from flash.

(FROM THEME)
/vsh/module/paf.prx
/vsh/module/vshmain.prx

COPY to flash, OVERWRITE EXISTING FILES !

(FLASH0)
/VSH/MODULE/paf.prx
/VSH/MODULE/vshmain.prx

Also Flash over the ltn0.pgf to the font folder to install the font. If your theme came with one.

THEME INSTALLED !!!

(Step 4) : Activating and Testing the theme.

While still in recovery Enable the 2 plugins CXMB and RECOVERY in vsh.

Restart your PSP and If you have any PTF's activated you will see the ptf icons. :) go to theme settings and enable the original psp icons.

TESTING THEME DONE !!!!!!

It's many Flash's tho.. but Flash0 is the one to add themes in right? :|

I have 3.71 M33-2 with 1.50 Kernel added

Hmm guess i'll use the memorystick thingy then... :(
I can't get it to work so i just hope theres a way to fit it :(
