![]() The big downside to having 5.00 is was the lack of customs waves. Not anymore. I convered the 176 waves pack to work on 5.00. Use them for your personal use or use theme with theme's. Just install them into your flash0/vsh/resource folder. Then go to your XMB select classic in settings/theme/background. I spent several hours working on this so please say thanks if you download. ENJOY. I am not responsible for anything that happens to your psp. I have tested several of these and they all worked. Alway make a backup of your original flash0 incase something does go wrong. cool.. you know what would be even kooler.. if you made like one folder.. and put all the piks of the previews of the waves in so we can preview each wave without going into each folder to find the jpeg and find out we dunt like em...
but other than that THIS IS AWESOME BRO!! thanks much.. so instead of using ctf.. u run it in toggle usb.. nd mess with vhs.. nd so u can only have 1 wave @ a time? |

ok, i'm a complete noob at this... so I apologize if this is a really stupid question, but I would be greatful for the help
ok, so nevermind about accessing flash0. i found a thread here that helped. tho... after i've put the system_plugin_bg.rco file in its right place, rebooted my psp, and set the theme to original... i get a white background. any idea on what went wrong? thanks! thanks for any help! after fooling around with it, i think i see the problem... some waves are really dependant on what theme you are using. Certain custom themes just dont work well with custom waves. For example: pretty much any custom theme that uses images behind their waves, like the FFXIII theme, or the Elfen Lied theme, those have problems when i try to use custom waves.
i've tried switching to a few other custom themes, and found that some do work well with the waves. Its really just hit and miss. Its too bad really. Cause i really wanted to use like a Flame wave with my FFXIII theme! oh well if anybody else has problems with some waves not working with some themes, but if you get them to work suddenly, please feel free to let me know how you fixed it! for now, looks like i'm out of luck. thanks |

that makes sense. i wonder if by using a theme editor/creator if i'll be able to remove a custome wave from a theme? hmm... i'll play around with it when i find some time.
