You can't use any wave you want on 5.00 M33.

There are two wave models in 5.00 M33. The system_plugin_bg.rco has changed and the new wave model is modified in vshmain.prx.

Using older waves from previous firmwares will result in a semi brick.

You could get away with using some older waves, but you have to leave it on classic settings in the xmb for it to work. It will semi brick on the original setting.

Yea trust oyabun because I did an semi brick for trying to use older waves on 5.00 M33-4;
When I'd tried to change the wave style to "Original" my PSP won't booted.

I'd had to Google for the original 5.00 Wave and reflash it from recovery.

Since I won't touch my PSP flash anymore.

You shouldn't be afraid of your PSP's flash, just more cautious. Make sure you know what the file is and what it does before you do anything. Custom waves are working fine for me on 5.00 M33-6.

On the topic of customising and flashing, if one has access to MMS & Jigkick does that mean they don't need to worry about semi/full-bricking?
