Plugin idea - Wallpaper randomizer

Call me weird, but I think this might be a neat idea for a piece of homebrew: a plugin that can change your wallpaper image every so often to a different one on your memory stick when you turn on the PSP. Maybe limit it to a particular folder, and be able to adjust the intervals between changes (daily, once a month, maybe even a "random" option). I don't know much about programming, but based on what I've seen I'd think that if the PSP already has the ability to change background colors once a month based on the system clock then maybe this could be doable...?

I always listen to my music on shuffle; the idea of my PSP mixing it up with my wallpaper just seems cool to me. <_<

I know that there's a CTF theme... thing.... that randomizes other CTF themes. But I didn't know there was a Wallpaper one.

I used a program on my computer called Wallpaper Master that randomizes the background every 10 minutes. It's great.

Just for background info - I tried this on my 3k5.03MHU (the readme claimed that it didnt touch the flash so i assumed - and i know about assumption but i tried anyway) and could not get it to work at all.

Anybody else got it running or am i doomed to failure?

EDIT: Solved the problem... 1st was changing the VSH.text in NOTEPAD not WORDPAD and it would not save the changes properly. 2nd Im running XMB RCO patcher and it overrides the Wallpaper changer and vica versa (i placed it before the patcher in the VSH and it works fine).

lol windows 7 has that built in.

That's cool. I have no idea about anything in Windows 7 lol. My computer can't handle it, so I don't bother.

XP gets the job done for me just fine.

Hot damn, I'm installing this. Disappointment that someone else had my idea before I did is outweighed by the instant gratification of not having to wait for someone to make it. ^_^
