Seeing as there is no OSLib linux distrubution, I took it upon myself to change that and help a few Ubuntu souls out there. Introducing OSLib for Ubuntu/linux!

Of course this is not my homebrew really. It was made by a coder name Brunny, but only for windows/cygwin. I merely translated the batch code into shell scripting. I also suggested a solution for the window executable tools that were originally programmed by Brunny. In case you want to know, no, I didn't ask Brunny, but I don't think he'll mind too much :surprised: So here it is! I tested it myself and it works wonders. The script is in the "Install" directory, replacing the "install.BAT" file that was there before. Just make sure you chmod it before you execute it:

Code:
sudo su
chmod a+xrw ./install.sh

PS: Just buying my time before I release something... tasty... I've been working on... :mrgreenthumbsup:

Nice find _prototype_. I've added it to my OSlib thread.

I see you have been helping out a lot lately. Thanks. I'm sure silverfox will see the help you have been giving out and add you to the programmer of the month competition.

Well, thanks for the recommendation PSdonkey. Although, I'll admit I don't think I deserve to enter the programmer of the month competetion, since I have not really programmed any homebrew yet. All I did was learn the bash scripting language which wasn't much to learn, took me less than an hour to somewhat master the thing. Anyway, thanks again and I hope this is helpful to any people with linux out there. (I should really inform Brunny about this already )

Ah brilliant :) I installed it manually by copying each file from place to place. I didnt even think of scripting it. Thanks for the good work!
