Is it possible for a prx plugin to detect when the usb cable is connected? Not really for in-game but it would be interesting to have a plugin that either detects the connection or pings it every 1000ms or so. When it does it can either call the xmb's usb dialog or a custom one.

First question, is it possible to detect the usb connection without pinging it?

If not, would there be a easy way to ping it without causing the xbm to slowdown?

Once that is done is it possible to call the xmb's original dialog?

Could you detect the usb cord's removal?

Most people will turn it off, its actually an extreme annoyance. You only want it when its not there then all of a sudden it goes into usb mode every time u connect a cable.

What u really want is a neural implant that will activate usb mode when u think about it lolz.
