im getting errors that it cant find the library (and every line of code after that)

You need to install OSlib seperate. Someone here posted a thread that had OSlib 1.1 all ready packed up and ready to install with the original pspsdk and libraries included as well. It was probably a month or so ago. I'm sure you can find it if you search for it here in this section. I meant to add it to the first post but im never at a computer anymore and im limted to as what I can do from this cell phone

was there ever more tutorials?
mainly what I want to go in is some calculations for fibonacci numbers (and maybe trigger them to the X button for each number to display)

That is an old outdated version of OSlib from 2006 I believe. I have updated OSlib several times since then and then others such as sanik and SG57 have even updated it further. There is a newer version of it here some where in this section and It is a much better version. I believe it is now called OSlib 1.1 mod

seem to got it working, had to learn a bit of C on how to output variables properly

how would I write to tell it to exit a loop when I press the triangle button?

Check out the first couple of lessons in the oslib thread. It will show you how to use input and output functions.
