From the concept art animation this one looks absolutely wicked. Keep up the work and don't give up!

I beleive he now has the rest of the art and the menu for difficulty setting. So he just has to do collision and guns next, and it'll be playable! Go speed racer go!

Hey, thanks for the support guys!

Today the following should be complete:
-background
-sprites + animation
-movement
-sprite-world collision

That will leave me with just doing the shooting and then adding in minor gameplay tweaks such as health, ammo, lives, etc. I'll also need to add in a splash screen and menu, but that should be too hard.

I have some new art as well.

shotgun in yo face! I also got some new tiles and stuff, so I'm adding those in as well.

I will continue to keep you guys posted and I will upload and post a new working revision so that you guys can test some stuff and let me know of any issues. Thanks!

Calv!n, add an online component and it can be like L4D on the PSP

With random hordes coming at yah and shizz, and having to dodge them with friends.

quick update for yall!

* all sprite animation and movement now time based (still waiting on a few sprites from artist)
* sky background added (still waiting on canyons from artist)
* movement implemented

I'll probably stay up a bit longer and finish doing the map collision & jumping. Once that is finished I'll start chucking in zombies everywhere and work on making our hero blast the crap out of em!

EDIT: I'm going to have to chunk up that background into multiple smaller sprites. Its killing the FPS to render that big boi!
