A quick question (had a "flash" right after i read the title of the previous thread) :
Quake mods aren't allowed , right? because that would be a bit lame...

No, no quake mods are allowed. In fact the only old upadated 3d homebrew that is allowed is 3d homebrew that was made from the original owner of the homebrew. If the original owner of a 3d homebrew wants to update his homebrew to a complete new level then that would be allowed. You cannot take homebrew from someone else without their permission and try to update it just because the source was open source

Does a background image count as a splash screen? It's basically on the screen the entire time.

I heard someone was going to write some tutorials for the two 3D engines that are out. So how is that coming along?
