![]() A Team Duck production. Edit: Now updated to version 1.1d The first official PSP version of Chronicles, made from scratch, is making its debut here at the Homebrew Idol 2 competition. Chronicles is a first person action-adventure game for the PSP. Fight your way past ghosts, goblins, and whatever those other things are to get the secret key to the locked gate, then hop across some platforms to land yourself into the next of 6 challenging levels. Backed by Team Duck's 3D Tedge engine, which we built from scratch, this game boasts beautiful visuals complete with dynamic lighting, a full particle system, 3D collision, model loading from files, among other features. This game is just a taste of what our engine is capable of doing. Take a peak at the level files, made with Milkshape3D, and feel free to modify and create your own levels. I intend to improve this set of levels and release another episode pretty soon. Use the analog stick to move, X to slash your sword, and O to jump. I'm in the process of uploading a new version that has fixed the clipping problem 90% or so.

Mm Mine crashed after opening hte third level's gate to the big green square enemy guy, lockedup and shut off

Eek, I'll look into it. I didn't get much chance to thoroughly test the game, as I was rushing to finish it having started at 2 PM on Friday, but I'll get on that these next three days.

It is quite good but my sword is always black and also the floor sometimes flashes black around the bottom corners of the screen. But over all its a very good game for just being made in such little time! Very good job. Good luck

If you download the latest version, the sword issue is fixed. I'm still working on the clipping problem.

Ok first of all this look really good.
Second, I have found a glitch. Sometimes when I use the analog stick to turn left or right, the floor texture on the opposite side of where I am turning to, is black Edit: When the green boxes pushed me against the wall, I crossed the wall and fell down to the infinite, but then I cam back :p Edit 2: A pause menu would be welcomed Last edited by pirata nervo; 06-08-2009 at 11:34 AM. |

That has to do with the PSP's clipping. It works fine on the PC, but once brought to the PSP the clipping is insane. Although the latest version is much better than the first, I know xigency is still working on completely fixing this.

Same here , but on the second try it worked ( i didn't touched at all the black gate ...and that's a bit hard to do with the clipping madness :-P).
