Doesn't matter. If you intend to program in c++ learn c++.

uhr...okay?
the best source for C++ is probably www.cplusplus.com it has all the standard C and C++ libraries. it also has (arguably) the best tutorial for beginners. http://www.cplusplus.com/doc/tutorial/ if you're just starting out, just download a free compiler. ie: Visual C++ Express. if you google it, you can get it for free just for registering the product. http://www.microsoft.com/express/vc/ as for the video, i saw a lot of the videos in youtube and i gotta say, i dont know how people learn from that. sometimes the video is so contracted and small that you can barely tell what they're doing. your best bet is either take a class or buy a book. i think the books have videos included. i highly recommend taking a class if you're serious about learning C++. your teacher (even if they're completely inconsistent in coding) WILL show you the proper ways to code. A lot of self taught programmers dont know the basics and wind up writing very cluttered and messy code that lead to memory leaks and other problems. keep me updated =) just come find me if you need help with something |

if you learn C++, you'll be learning C at the same time.
I also recommend http://www.cplusplus.com/ you could also get some books. |

Don't learn C first.
It's extremely hard to get into C++ if you learn C first because you are too used to C and it makes it harder to get used C++ and to understand why use it over C. |

I guess you could look it at that way, but it my opinon C is alot simplier then c++, when it comes to just learning coding.
