The reason why it starts in 5.50 and not exploit the 6.00 OFW version is to focus on getting a good CFW and to start that is by starting with 5.50. Now The team is starting on a new project called "jab1"

This is the video review of teamjab's 5.50 cfw for the PSP, I was able to go through some games and applications, but in order to make the videos short I did not go through them all. I apologize about some of the muffled sound, one of my first videos while testing cfw.

Why? You gave it away in the video:

Only recommended to be done from the 5.50 GEN update. A real custom firmware wouldn't install on any 5.50 firmware for one and there's really no need for 5.50 custom firmware. (It's like unwritten/unspoken code among cf devs)
