Added new converter, converter now converts all 25 BMP's and renames them for you, it also cleans up after itself :)
The only thing it doesn't do is check for missing BMP's so if you miss ANY, you will recieve an error box for every numbered BMP missing, sorry but I cant be arsed adding checks for missing files, I'm too lazy :P

You name them 1 - 25 if you read the readme you can see which BMP becomes what :)

BTW if you downloaded straight after me posting get it again, I missed a line in the converter, should work ok now.

The converter doesn't rename menu items on XMB, the renaming is for the converted DAT files, so you know which file is which when you put them into the custom topmenu_plugin.rco

Edit2:
If you mean hex the menu names using hex editor... whats the point? just use X-Flash to do that... this is for Icons only.

i tryed the flash menu editor, when ever i save changes it always comes out like 3-4 lines off

like i tryed changing "network update" to "disabled" and it saved it but when i looked at in the xmb the word "disabled" was in between the icons so small i could barely read it. it saves it when i change words but it doesnt save it in a way where it looks right on the xmb.

Link now fixed

EDIT:

Just realised I left 24.dat in the "CONVERTED" folder, just delete this, it was used by me for testing and isnt a part of your converted files.

i did it the way you described and when i loaded the .rco it did actually save the hex code values...something i noticed though is that going to edit/clipboard/copy didnt actually copy anything at least not for me so i did copy as hex code or w/e, im trying to flash the menu now to my psp and the new icons are not showing up...? any thoughts?

You have to open the custom topmenu_plugin.rco in the hex editor and load your dat image in a new hex editing window and copy that to the topmenu file, if you follow the instructions carefully, everything will work the way it should.

Make sure you put all 25 images in tho, because if you miss any, those icons will not display.
