I'm currently on 3.95. I used the programs in the guide. Well, I only did the first disc of FF9, so that is probably the reason. But Directors Cut is the one I wanted to play most lol.

I'm ready, at least I THINK I'm ready, to put the EBOOT.PBP file of Final Fantasy VII, disc 1 into the PSP's Game folder. When I go to drag it in, I get an error message saying that "the file being copied is too large for the destination drive." This makes sense, seeing as how the largest memory card I own, the one I'm trying to put FF7 on, only has a capacity of 256MB (with only 95ishMB free, and yet when I try to make room, nothing seems to be on it. Hmm...) and the EBOOT.PBP file is 529MB.
So, my question: is there a way to compress the EBOOT.PBP to a manageable size that will allow it to fit on my sad excuse for a memory card, or do I have to bust out the $$ to get me a bigger memory card? If the latter is my only option, do they sell used memory cards at game stores? Any help/advice would be appreciated. Wow, my brain hurts! This PS1-to-PSP ISO business is really complicated. I must say, though, that your tutorial, Rain, is very detailed and thorough (the pictures you have up helped me a lot! Bonus points for you, sir). |
