First, a million thankyou's for this terrific guide. Thanks to you i have my PSP Slim with CFW 4.01 :twothumbs:
I have been creating a few eboots from PSX images and all no trouble whatsoever thanks to this guide.

However, i got to my first tricky one. Metal Gear Solid. Its 2 cd's, and i was a little confused to how you created them with you guide. I assume you dont need all 3 programs? just psx2psp should be able to make a combined eboot, correct?...Anyway thats what i did, everything seems fine, except the speech, sounds like a crackle or echo. So not sure if i made the eboot correctly or if MGS needs popsloader?

any help would be ace :twothumbs:

Yup MaxConsole has a decent PSone solutions forum I usually reference people there for games I havent tried.

So, I'm going to assume that discussion on where to download the files from PS1 discs (even if you have legally owned them) is against the rules and grounds for a ban?

can you explain the multidisc more clearly? or is the picture you provided has to be that order? i'm confused...

I keep on having a problem with a multidisc eboot of Metal Gear Solid (I have the game, no stealing for me :mrgreen:), I created it in PSX2PSP and it still won't run in my psp.

I'm using 4.01 m33-2.

As much as i love this forum my finger points to Max Console's PS1 forum (Its a sub forum of psp downgrading and exploits). They have alot on it. I just today got a new psp so I havent had a chance to mess with the game but i do own a copy.

All multi disc games have their quirks and i am not familiar with the problems with MGS so check out these links for maxconsole and the compat list

EDIT EDIT EDIT - ABout five posts up another guy was having a different problem an audio problem with MGS here is the link he posted it might have good build instructions? - http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthr...=114901&page=2 Appears to say use that game id give it a shot dont forget to check the compat list to see if u should be using popsloader.

Thanks, I'll see what I can get out of them. I just killed Sniper Wolf and I want to know what happens after that, it's basically my first time playing it. >_>
