THANK VERY MUCH, great tut,
after read this tut and some post I manage to upgrade frm 3.71 M33-3 to 5.00 M33-6 now, I think, I got stuck here

" (For Fat PSP's Only)
Installing the 1.50 Kernel Addon
*This Is Used To Run Older Versions Of Homebrew On The Fat PSP ONLY.
Download the 1.50 kernel addon for 5.00 here -->http://dl.qj.net/dl.php?fid=24408
Copy to ms0:/PSP/GAME5XX and run
You might need to have the 1.50 eboot in the root of your memory stick.
Download 1.50 eboot here -->http://www.psphero.com/download/official_150.rar and rename as 150.PBP"

I went in ms0:/PSP, but I can not find a folder call GAME5XX (XX is some number), I have got only GAME, GAME150, GAME371, so I delete GAME150, GAME371 as they are empty, make new folder GAME500, put in folder 150k_installer and RAR file 150k_addon401.

comes out and try to run it, but can not find it under games.

can someone help please ????

apart from that I still can play the iso games with a game in UMD drive.

Thank

in the PSP folder create a folder titled exactly "GAME5XX" (Without the quotes)

take the 150.pbp file and place it on the root of your memory stick (not MP_ROOT folder, just the first level of your memory stick).
then take the 10k_installer and put it in PSP/GAME or GAME5XX (it doesn't matter, it just depends on what kernel mode your psp is set to).

THANK very much "theEvilOne"

All working now..

One more thing, Here's what I got on my PSP root dir.
ms0:/cheats
/dh (devhook)
/ISO
/MP_ROOT
/MUSIC
/PICTURE
/PSP
/seplugins
/VIDEO
150.PBP file
autorun file
MEMSTICK.IND file
MSTK_PRO.IND file
psp (icon) file
Uninstall file

my question is do I still need \dh (devhook) folder ??

p.s may be in the tut a line should be add 'in the PSP folder create a folder titled exactly "GAME5XX" (Without the quotes)' or something like that to make crystal clear.

Quick question, probably a stupid one.

My CFW is currently at 3.52 M33-4. I downloaded the 5.00 M33 update, did the network download of the 500.PBP, and everything ran smoothly.

However, after the update completed, I was taken to a screen that was trying to install official 5.00 PSP firmware.

Will these eradicate any possibility of getting my CFW back, or is this a normal part of the process? I don't remember seeing this before when I downgraded completely with GTA:VCS (but that was a long time ago).

Thanks
