Default need help pls.

pls. anyone there, I need help, I cant upgrade my firmware,
I always end up to an error stating (401.PBP Incorrect files)
during file verification when I update my Firmware.

my current firmware is 3.80 M33-5

Default upgrading frm Custom Firmware 3.30 OE-A

Hi i have a fat PSP running Custom Firmware 3.30 OE-A.. yeah I know it's Old I would like to upgrade it to the latest firmware the 5.00. i understand that i may have to do gradually updates before i get the 5.00 I'm not surewhich one to do first if any one can tell me what step to take first I would be very Happy ThX

Thanks, it was realy easy to upgrade to 5.00M33-3...

Ok, I'm guessing you didn't put all what you need to...

I'm running the 4.001 or whatever comes with the spanish named program...

I've already upgraded from there.. now I wanna get to 5.0, and I see what you did with the first patch, but I don't know how to upload it... Do I use Rain's tool to upload it?

or do I just smack, dab right there in the folder and it'll do the rest? you're missing a few steps for noobs ~_~

when i was updating to the 5.00. the patch for it keeps saying data corrupt when i try to install it on my psp and the same for the kernel. whats wrong?

was just looking over the directions and also wanted to ask when it says to put the eboot directly into the root of the memory stick was does that mean?

whats your current custom firmware?

root of memory stick is where you see your PSP, VIDEO, MUSIC, ISO folders.
--> root ms0:/PSP

I only updated it using the 5.00 update and nothing else. was there another update i was suppose to use first? And what about the kernel? before it was 3.8 or 3.81.
