I'm really interested in getting this, however PSPKVM will not run on my PSP no matter what... I've tried it in several different versions on several different folders and no avail.

I've tried GAME150, GAME5XX, GAME, and each time it starts up, no matter what version I'm using or kernel is loaded, the screen stays black and I have to hold the power switch for ages until it shuts off. Any ideas?

Edit: I'm using 5.00 M33-6 and using a PSP-1000 FAT.

Yes sir, I've tried many different versions of PSPKVM as well.
Each does the exact same thing, and I am running 5.XX Kernel, I've even tried running the 1.50 Kernel version on 1.50 Kernel, still the exact same thing.

I'm lost

Edit: Everything else works perfectly fine on my PSP.

I have many apps and many plugins installed and every one works great. This is the only thing I haven't been able to run.

You may use the SCE keyboard following this steps:

You will have to edit the file pspkvm.ini from the folder PSPKVM with WordPad (DO NOT USE NOTEPAD AS IT CAN'T HANDLE THE LINE BREAKS OF THIS FILE!!).

Open it, and find the line that says:
#com.pspkvm.inputmethod = sony-osk

Remove the # and should look like this:
com.pspkvm.inputmethod = sony-osk

You're done! Now typing should be A LOT faster!
Note: To bring it up choose "QUERTY" in the menu (when typing in Opera Mini). Then press any button. It should pop up. Do your typing, and click ok. You should know the rest.
But it has an side effect; the app may crash frequently.
To undo just put back the # in the line.

Then i fiddle around with Homebrew folders and Folder locations and now none of my Homebrew work

Im using 5.00m33-6 with 1.50 Kernal

Little help please?
Then you might have an fake Memory Stick. Go to Video and press [triangle] button, and if it says something of MagicGate "Unknown" or "Unsupported" then it's an fake and you'll never get it to work.

Does anyone know how to save files in their proper format/??

Like saving a text file for game walkthrough or something. What I've found so far is if you load the txt page and select Tools-Save Page Opera saves it in it's own format rather than *.txt

It's a big pain. It would be so easy to load up Opera find a walkthrough, save it as a .txt file rename it to ULUS-***** and have it at your fingertips for psp games or whatever.

Any ideas would be great. Also there doesn't seem to be a way to do this with the default PSP browser either.

Hmmmmmmm... Seems like an Opera-related stuff, so you'd better ask Opera.

Dah, this is proving rather useless to me. Opera Mini refuses to connect to my school's wifi (the usual "failed to connect" message) even with 87% signal. It does connect to other networks, but it's such a pain to use. When I try to navigate it always ends up jumping to the bottom of the page and scrolling around randomly before going where I want it to.

I can't find any way to pull up an actual keyboard to enter URLs, nor to backspace with the weird ass-input system it wants to use.

I downloaded Facebook Mobile, but it doesn't launch. Just returns to the app menu. Other apps, I can't download, because all the sites think I'm on a Nokia somethingorother and give me a .sis or .sisx file that PSPKVM can't use. GetJar.com has an option to change the model of phone, but it doesn't work! It resets to this Nokia thing as soon as I go to another page! I can't choose a model on Google either; the dropdown box doesn't work. Changing the device type before launching Opera didn't help either.

Every second time I start PSPKVM, it just hangs at a black screen.

All I really need is a browser that won't barf when it gets the invalid security certificate from the school's login page so I can actually get online. I looked up Links2 but the download link is dead. Before I was using my laptop with a spoofed MAC, but it's quit on me. Fffff.

Luna is not dead, it just has a todo list a mile long. My website is, though. But it will return, someday... >_>
