Thank you bestyugiman. I don't hate 5.50 GEN-D3 anymore. I already gave you REP, don't worry.

The new patch is a failure.
I tested James Cameron's Avatar on it and it gave me a game could not be started error. I tested it again with D3's peagasus.prx and it worked.

I think the "Patch" is just an auto installation of the GEN-D2 peagasus.prx. It would explain the red splash screen when decrypting (5.55-6.10 games) instead of the purple used by D3's peagasus.prx.

I suggest using GEN-D2's peagasus.prx as a GAME plugin in seplugins if a certain game has "corrupt" saves on D3.

If you are a D3 user with a slim, you can do something, or so I think. Get savestates and install it on your PSP, then start a game with the corrupt save problem using D2's peagasus.prx. After your game loads, create a savestate and exit the game. In the XMB, press the select and bring up your Ultimate VSH Menu and go to the recovery menu from it. Go into plugins and disable D2's peagasus.prx. Exit back into the XMB (don't hold R while exiting the recovery menu). Restart your game from the savestate and then save. This should create a save readable by D3. All theory of course since I have not tried it.

Using D2's peagasus.prx as a plugin would solve that. And it can be fully remedied if you can use savestates.
