Kevin, I had that problem try it with a different IPL.
TimeMachine didn't work for me, SleepFix worked but said that I was missing the ms0:/elf folder even though I wasn't and I'm trying the Booster Fix now. Anyone know why it told me my /elf folder doesn't exist while using SleepFix? |

The 'elf' folder is just for launching ELF files with a ELF menu loader. You don't need it if you don't have a use for them.

Basically i just picked up a new PSP this afternoon. Its a SLIM PSP-2000, It has system software version 4.01. I haven't done anything yet. With all the info out there im hell confused. I just want to ask if i follow the instructions on page 1 and install v3.9, is that still gonna work even though my new PSP has 4.01? Maybe dumb question. sorry. |

Hi,
first of all I'd like to thank ...BeAkEr... for this tutorial and all of the people helping noobs like me ^^ I read pretty much every pages of this thread and a lot of the links given by members. I bought last week a psp slim-2004 with official firmware 4.05 (which I installed myself to access the playstation store) 1) If I understand well, the Datel tool battery doesn't work great, so if I get an extra official psp s-110 1200 mAh battery I can hard mod it by cutting one of the legs, allowing to enter service mode when booting. 2) The magic stick can be created either using PSP Grader Lite v5 to go to CFW 3.90 m33, or using DCv3 to get to 3.70 m33 3) This magic stick and the modded battery should, or hopefully will, allow me to flash a custom firmware mentionned above. I hope this is right ^^ now I was wondering, I read that "new" psp motherboards didn't allow the installation of CFW, but I failed to find how old was this particular post, so is there a way to find out if my psp can be flashed ? or is the OFW the only limitation at the time ? Thx |

Ok thanks :)
I am going to choose between the hard modded battery and the datel battery (which should work fine with DCv3 - despertar del cementario), but first I'll wait to see if any experienced member made it with OFW 4.05 ! |
