Hi first time posting, had a psp for a while but finally decided to get custom on it, i finally worked out how to do the grader lite on my memory card(4gb), its a phat psp 1003, anyway just waiting for my pandora batt to arrive, just asking a silly noob question and just double checking before i do it and follow the steps, with current sony update installed, this will definitely work and custom firmware my psp?? will i then be able to run the homebrew games on this site and the UMD dumper, then just update as normal over broadband for the sony updater but still have custom for running homebrew stuff, any advice would be fantastic, im not computer thick but please talk english lol!! thanks:)

Oh just to help some people who are having problems running grader lite i downloaded a programme of the internet called Alltap salamander 2.5 as i was having difficulty in getting any of my programmes to run the .rar files, its free to download and lasts thirty days on your system and reads ALOT of different files, its a nice easy programme to use.

PSP Plum/ Yes you are correct, thats exactly how it works, custom fw will let you play homebrew and update to newer custom fw via the network update. Also you should use winrar to open rar files, its a must for any PC as all files are normally rar'ed on the net...
[google winrar]

xman23/ Yeah that should be fine, good luck with it, it'll be fine though.

First of all wanted to thank Klutsch for a badass app that is going to save me many hours of research. Second I was curious to see if people were still having problems with the Datel Tool Battery and this method. I read through this entire thread and heard some mention of people using Datel batteries having problems. Doesn't make much sense to me that its happening since from all the tuts I've read they do the same thing as a hard modded pandora battery.

There is a list of batteries that work and a list that dont work, as far as i know the datel is on the list that does work.
