What happen if the psp bricked? is there a way to revive it? what are the tools needed? I got my psp brick. Sorry it maybe a wrong thread for me.

some datel tools have been reported here before as not working with this tutorial, try formatting and doing it again, also did you hold the L button whilst inserting the battery? [not only after the battery is in] is the battery charged?

The memory card could have bad sectors etc causing the process to fail

Thank you sir! From what I read here I didn't think I would have to downgrade since it said it was good up until ofw 4.01 from out of box but thought I should be sure that regular upgrades would matter or not. Thanks again!

PS... Stupid question but to be sure... In the PSP menu under the game menu it says PSP Update ver 3.95. This is my ofw it came with right?
