Hey guys, I have a little bit of a problem... I originally used this guide in order to hack my Slim PSP. Everything went great, I was on CFW and my system was at 5.00 M33-6. I put on SNES9x and started to play Super Mario World. I told my friend that my SNES emulator was a little bit sluggish and flickery, and he told me that it might be because I was on 5.00 instead of 5.03, so he said I should probably just upgrade to that. I did that, and now my PSP shuts off whenever I try and run any program. ISOs, Emulators, everything. I tried doing a bunch of stuff to try and fix it or revert it back, but to no avail. Right now my PSP is on 5.03 M33 and shuts off whenever I try to run anything... I was wondering if you guys had ever seen anything like this and if it's fixable. I'd really appreciate any help, this thing seemed like it was the answer to all of my problems in playing those few SNES RPGs I could never get my hands on, etc. Sorry for such a needy first post and such :\

no such thing as 5.03M33 unless ur using official 5.03+chickHEN+CFWenabler.
if so, run chickhen then run hellcats recovery flasher 1.6
this takes u back to 5.00M33-6
stick with that.

Well I'd imagine I am, I did the steps in the tutorial and then reinstalled 5.03 or something...

My System Software now reads 5.03 M33

And I cant run ChickHEN again because it wont crash+reboot my PSP. I pres X on the images and it just sits there, and the bottom image says "unsupported data"

does this mean that i can only use this mms on a psp with 5.00ofw only?
and if my psp is bricked how can it have firmware?

nope you can use MMS with any firmware, unless you have the new psp3000 or a slim with the ta88v3 mobo.

when your psp is bricked it has firmware, but it just isn't accessable. inserting the pandora battery forces the psp to boot, but since it doesn't know where the firmware is, it searches the memory stick for something to access, allowing you to install custom firmware.

Can Anyone Help Me Please I follwed the guide bit by bit but i Cannot get Chickhen To load on a Uk 1003 Psp when I select the TTif the psp Show a little picture of a Camera and then Shuts Down i have been trying for 6 hours and the only thing i have managed to do is to give myself a Head Ache

Please Help

Ps i have tried the Set to Default Option That Made no Difference Either

you have the h.bin in the root of the memory stick, rite? no umd in the drive and a memory stick thats not fake.
