I used a Knife to weaken the one side so that I could push my ID through, but I can't get the side with the Charge Adapter.

I found where to remove the Pin.
Is it normal for Smoke to come out?

The Pin is out.
But my PSP won't turn on at all.
I'm guessing this is bad?...

I had the smoke problem once, cuz i had a different type of battery. bought my psp in thailand.

anyway i tried the chickenhack like 40 times now, i open the photofolder, psp blocks for 3 secs shuts down. I boot it and i never get the 5.03 chicken version.
u guys say keep trying but i'm starting to get a little sick of it tbh...

I've been doing it for more than hour now without pauzes, rly depressing but i'll keep trying for a few days when i got some spare time ...

Ok, i patched a phatty earlier today after havin followed Scorpus and everybody elses experiences, it's workin perfectly, it's actually pretty easy when somebody else already found how to do it. it was my first time doin it, never done it before, but i love it thanks a bunch
edit: oh, i saw right now some ppl sayin that they can't get chickHEN to load, i had to rerun the tiff exploit 4 or 5 times, if i remember correctly.

i have follow the forum and now my FAT psp is in 5.03 chickHEN R2 but i cant get the hellcat recovery flasher to work, it keep showing me

Hey folks, did everything right last week on my psp 1000. this week i'm trying to do my buddies and it doesnt seem to work. Well I got the right version. 5.00 m33-6, and its playing the emulators fine, but the iso's I've tried arent working, and looking through the folders of my psp and my friends its all different. Did i screw something up? there was no ISO folder, not really sure what to do or where to start, can i start over. I remember i was having a tough time with the photo part (eggspoilt) so i put my card in and used it on his and it worked, except for that its all been the same, thanks for any idea, maybe doing it all over? any ideas would be appreciated. thanks

so ur friends psp is also hacked and its a phat too..... did u format his mem card from the psp??? if not, do it so that all the necessary folders will be made automatically and put the iso/cso games into the ISO folder which is in the root of the mem stick

i formatted the stick before everything, must have made that mistake, just formatted it and it looks like all folders are present and accounted for . Very grateful thanks
