u cant. the new psp(3000) cant be hacked yet. unless by original psp u mean the fat psp..

u must use either pandora method or find a copy of Lumines UMD to hack ur psp..

The tutorial is good but a little confusing for a newbie like me. I have just purchased a sony PSP with 4.01 firmware. How do i hack it? I am confused because there are so many versions in the tutorial that I am not sure which one is applicable to my PSP. I have also not understood the concept of magic stix, pandora's battery etc. I am sorry if i sound dumb but can someone give me a step by step procedure for hacking. Thanks!

if it came with official 4.01 or anything higher it cannot be hacked YET.
