This is, hands down, the best guide for modding a PSP (phat or slim). Granted I've been in IT/IS for a while but this is super easy. Thanks much.

I have one question,

Isn't it possible to just cut the little pin in the battery, so that it doesn't make contact anymore?

I have a PSP fat with standard battery.

If you have a psp v5.02 , can you still downgrade it to 3.5?

Whassup Scorpus?! I just wanna ask which guide I should follow? I want to upgrade my PSP to CFW v5.00 M33-4 I own a PSP Slim, v3.90 M33. I don't know if i'm confused or just plain stupid. Hehe. I'll w8 4 ur reply. Thx dude!

First of all thanks for the guide it is really help full.


I just bought a second hand fat psp. It has 3.90 offical version in it.
I also bought a 4 gig memory stick and it is the only one i have.
My question is can i use my battery and memory stick after i make
magic stick and pandora battery out of them?
Can i make them normal again after i make the modding process?
Do i need another psp for modding?
