Setting up 5.03 GEN-A on PSP-3000

Oh yeah =) CFW for the PSP-3000 is here. Just follow the instructions below. Sorry about the lack of pictures. I haven't got the time to take screen shots and crop them up. This tutorial will NOT brick your PSP-3000. You need to have your PSP updated to 5.03 in order for this to work.

Download the 5.03 OFW

Features:

o Reading of plays PS1
o Reading of the backups of plays PSP
o GEN VSH FINELY available
o Recovery in VSH available (some bugs remains to be regulated – to see further)
o Access to the PSN

1. Download ChickHEN R2 and 5.03 GEN-A CFW | 5.03 GEN-A CFW - ChickHEN R2
2. Connect your PSP Via USB and place H.bin in the root of your memory stick.
3. Open the "SLIM" folder and copy the "ChickHEN" folder to PSP/PHOTO
4. On your PSP, Go to PHOTO<Memory Stick<ChickHEN and scroll down to the very bottom.
5. Your PSP Should then turn off. Wait 5 to 10 seconds and it SHOULD come back on. If not, turn it on manually.
6. Extract the 5.03gen RAR to your Desktop.
7. Once extracted, Enable USB Connection your PSP and sit it down.
8. Double click on LAUNCH-ME.EXE that you've just extracted out of the 5.03GEN RAR
9. As your PSP Model, Choose PSP-3000
10. For the Mode, Select "FULL"
11. Select YES for PSP Install
12. Push start. The files are copied to your PSP
13. Disconnect your PSP from USB Mode
14. Go to Game<Memory Stick and Open INSTALLER-LOADER
15. When the INSTALLER-LOADER loads, Hit either L or R to Flash the CFW to your PSP, Doesn't matter which button.
16. Once it's finished Flashing, Hit O to reboot your PSP and it'll reboot with CFW.
17. You may now delete the ChickHEN and the 5.03 GEN-A files off of your Memory Stick.
    
    There you go. CFW on your PSP-3000 without having to use ChickHEN everytime you shut off your PSP.

Known Bugs

	The RECOVERY MODE of the 5.02GEN-A was patché to turn on the PSP-3000. It makes it possible to modify the majority of the usual options. Note that we some problems with this recovery in VSH and will undoubtedly have to be awaited a patch encounters correction so that it is functional at 100%. Note that SMALL GEN VSH functions, him, very well.
