CMD in Vista doesn't work...
That's a stupid question but you did put pandora battery into slim after putting Pandora MS?
And I heard it is possible to use phat battery that was converted into pandora to force PSP slim to run in service mode (just don't let it go when it's inside).

But I dunno I don't have phat. I went straight from OFW 3.72 to CFW 3.71 on a slim using DCv3.

DCv3 runs on any PSP. On Slims, you need a Pandora Phat/Slim battery. On Phats, you need a Phat battery.

7)If you are a Phat user, download the 1.50 Kernel Addon, and the 1.50 UPDATE This is optional.

Extract 1.50 kernel addon. Move the '150KernelAddOn' folder to X:/PSP/GAME. Rename the 1.50 UPDATE to '150.PBP' and place it on the root of your memory stick. Disable USB Mode, and execute from GAME>MemoryStick. Read what's needed and press X to install.
just a clarification, why do i have to have the 1.50 kernel add-on if i am a phat psp user? and if this is optional what are the advantages?
thanks.

you dont have to put the kernel on if all you are doing is playing iso's from your memory stick, but if you want to play home brew games then you will need it, thats how I understand it. I only play iso's so didnt need it but I have just made a pandora batt and magic mem stick and needed to instal it for that.

hope that clears it up and I am correct but after lots of reading from this site thats how i understand it.

No 1.50 kernel = No 1.50 homebrew

Simple as that. Some homebrew were only made for 1.50 and was never ported for 3.xx versions. (PSP Revolution). You won't be able to launch these games through the XMB, but through another app like eLoader.

I ran through all the steps and I'm having problems. My PSP is on the Pandora Installer screen after step 10:

10)When it is done, press L + X to install the ipl. You now have a JiKick Battery, and Magic Stick with DCv3 on it.

The screen reads:
Reading and Checking ms0:/UPDATE.PBP

ERROR WHILE INITIALIZING: 0x8ca10002
Installing firmware to memorystick.
Hang on, time to get coffee....

It's been on this screen for 2hrs, that coffee is long gone. I'm using a 2gb Sandisk MS, so I dont know if its the card or perhaps another issue....
