Does this work for the PSP Slim & Lite (PSP-2006) variant that is released in Hong-Kong?

Weird issue...my Slim didn't power on when I put the Pandora battery in (battery had already been tested and working), but as I was taking the battery out (after waiting about a minute, it powered on...I backed up NAND, then flashed and it works great (tested ISOs, PSX and NesterJ)...

I put the official battery in after it had powered up, just to be safe for the flash...but I'm guessing the pin alignment was slightly off, although I did have an orange "charge" LED with the Pandora battery inserted...

Anyway, just thought I'd throw that out there in case anybody runs into the same issue...

yeah, I had that, so I connected the power cable first just in case like you would with FM install and it worked good for me :)

I had the power cable in as well, but the Pandora battery didn't power the PSP on when inserted...as I was pulling it out though...success...

It's a regular Sony battery and I had already tested it on an original PSP...I guess Sony's definition of "fits" is different from mine, LOL...

What struck me about the whole thing is that if there was no contact during or after battery insertion (which the lack of auto power on would seem to indicate), but there was contact during the amount of time that it takes to remove a battery, the boot process that Pandora initiates is almost instantaneous...

So the same pandora battery will work for fats and slims with no modding needed?
I have a pandora battery and a slim and I'm confused as to if I need a fat psp or if I can download the files the fat would create from some where and use them with my pandora battery.

use the fat PSP to create all the files and battery, thtas all, and use the fat PSP battery to use on the Slim ;)

and you will still need to format your memory Stick Pro Duo logically for it to work ;)

The problem is I have no fat psp. Only the pandora battery and a slim I want to install custom firmware on.

but you need a fat PSP that has 1.50 of CF under the 1.50 kernel to run the Slim Installer ;)
