[HOW-TO] Installing FATMSMOD.PRX 3.71 (3.80 through 5.00)

Installing FATMSMOD 3.71 on 5.00

Installing FATMSMOD 3.71 on 4.01

Things You Will Need
1 - M33 PSARDumper (up to 3.7x) from Dark Alex
2 - Patch to Load 3.71 fatmsmod on 3.80/3.90 M33 Version 2
3 - 3.71 Update

How Todo It
1 - Place both The PSARDumper and Patch in their respective GAME folders.
2 - Place the 3.71 Update on the memory stick root keep it named EBOOT.PBP
3 - Run the PSARDumper using SQUARE [ ].
4 - When it is done there will be a folder F0 inside that folder is a folder named kd - copy the fatmsmod.prx to the root of the memory stick.
5 - Run the Patch Program and let it reboot.

You are finished, READ the instructions and dont be dumb. If you flash the file yourself it wont brick however it just wont read any memory sticks and youll have to flash firmware back using pandora... I know because I made this mistake. This has been tested on both phat and slim. Those running flash0 themes on phat may lack the space todo this.

all you had to do was install it the same way you would on 3.90 and 3.80... ok, thats some real breaking news lol.

but i never noticed the speed boost untill now because i wasn't looking for it b4. anyone who hasn't already needts to install this.

I will, I have had trouble linking straight off dark alex's site because they link off exophase but I will look around, the 371 update can link from here.

PSPJoke Yeah I always used UPMS to install it and alot of people bricked doing it when 4.01 came out. I had heard some mentions at maxconsole so yesterday i got tired of my icons loading so slow and i couldnt find stuff.

So yeah I mean for anyone who did it manually before they probably knew this.
