Hmm yeah would like that confirmed before I actually buy one.
What part does the battery do anyway? Downgrade to 1.5?
And memory stick upgrade to cfw?

slim's do not actually downgrade to 1.5 ever

it allows an exploit which runs the IPL loader which lets you installs the custom firmware

DATEL TOOL battery=service battery=pandora battery=hardmod battery
all are the same and do the same thing, so yes it will work, keep in mind, battery must be charged typicly more than 75% to load DCv3 or DCv4.
And ya, the battery changes the boot sequence on the psp from the usual boot from internal flash to boot off memstick(DCv3 or DCv4 or Pandora(1.5)

I can't get the program PSP Grader to work. Every time I try to open it it says "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135)." Could anyone help me with this?
