I need some help with sounds

Im trying to make a lua homebrew thing and i need some sounds i am pretty good at figuring things out myself but i just can't seem to figure this out, i am using LPHM 1.0 and i use a .WAV file so what i need is the proper code to do any of these things if some one could just give me the code to one that would be great it will keep me busy for a while,


1. How to make sounds when you press a button

2. How to make music play in background <-- least important

3. How to make it go some where else, For example Main menu >> Sub menu something like that
