Default still cannot get iso or cso of mgs portable ops to work

I have other iso and cso games that work fine. I have tried three different mgs files they all show on my psp on the memory card. But once i got to boot it up the mem card light blinks a bit then freezes for a min or two and then the psp shuts off. I am running cfw 5.00 m33-6 with kernel 150. Note I also had mgs portable ops plus working. I am at my wits end here and really want to play this. I even converted the original file from cso to iso and then after that did the same thing shortened the files name and it still does the same.

Check your UMD mode settings in the recovery menu.

Set it to Sony NP9660 or try the M33 driver.

Did you rip anything from the ISO before compressing to CSO ?

In recovery menu -> advanced, Try formatting flash1 and reset settings as well.

Your flash1 could be corrupt.

Formatting it will restore default settings.

It is completely safe.

In recovery menu -> advanced, format flash1.

You will have to re-enter default language, time zone, time and date, nick name and reconfigure network settings.

Ill try that in a bit. And I have dled a couple diff rips of mgs po and they all do this same thing. It shows the title on the psp menu with my other games but once you hit that you get the psp shite screen the orange light blinks a bit then stays solid and in a min or so it shuts my psp off. Every copy of it i have tried does this. I have several other games cso and iso that work no issues. Ill try the flash thing see if that works. I just think its weird its the only game not working.

After you format flash1, your recovery menu settings will change.

Some settings will be disabled and UMD mode will be on umd required, so change that back to Sony NP9660.
