Use Zingaburga's simple popstation GUI, make sure you use PSX bin and cue files and load the cue file into the GUI, this should solve your music problem, you can also use CloneCD image files too I think, unless the GUI has changed since I last looked, which was a while ago...

I use zinga burga's aplication and i just look for the bin file and convert it to eboot. There's no other files on the psx games. Again, the game plays fine, only no music, just sound effects.

Well the cue file that is supposed to be with the bin file includes like a music track listing for the bin file, the popstation reads this and allows music to be heard in the game, if you just load the bin file in that info is lost, so no music.

Are you making the images yourself from disks? if you are use CDRWIN to make both bin and cue files from your CD's

If you only have the bin files, download daemon tools and install it, load your bin file into the image drive it makes, then use CDRWIN to make bin and cue files :)
Hope this solves your problem... EDIT: Install cdrwin, after install run the software and click on middle top icon pictured below: Use the following settings: all you need to change in that pic is your CD reader, so that it is set to your image drive with your bin file loaded in. Now set your destination for your bin and cue files underneath the CD reader option, and give your image a name. now click on save settings, so you dont have to sett them again, all you will need to do is change the destination and image filename. Now click START to make your bin and cue files... and thats it... all done :) |
